Biography

For more than three decades, John Stanford has provided exceptional insight and advocacy to business law clients in the New York City area and nationwide. He is a recognized leader in matters relating commercial real estate and has handled complex transactions on behalf of multinational corporations and small businesses.

Throughout his career, he has represented a diverse clientele and served as a trusted partner to companies through all types of legal challenges. Along with general corporate representation, he assists with real estate concerns such as property acquisitions, leasing agreements, financing arrangements and land use rules. His comprehensive understanding of both the legal landscape and the New York real estate market enables him to deliver innovative solutions tailored to each client's unique objectives.

Beyond his legal practice, John is dedicated to his community and profession. He serves on the boards of several volunteer organizations as well as the Real Property Law section of the New York State Bar Association.

He lives in Manhattan with his wife and two children, and enjoys spending his free time traveling, sailing and reading.
